99 SPECIES IN TWO DAYS....

 

 

a representative from the Audubon Society and Cornell Ornithology Lab recently visited RP.  In just two days of looking, our friend was ecstatic to set a personal best record .... 99 species identified in 2 days! You can see the entire list at eBird.com:

Our private reserve, and its trails are home to about 250 species which our guests have been observing for years.  The Central American barn Owl (big picture) has been a resident at RP for 4 years....delighting dinner guests with an almost nightly show of hunting prowess watched best from our dining tables! 

 

So bring your binoculars.
